چکیده

The second-generation high-temperature superconducting tapes (2G-HTS) such as the REBCO coated conductors are known for their strong mechanical properties and high current carrying capacity with low ac losses compared first-generation HTS well low-temperature superconductors. Therefore, they seem to be good candidates assemble coils rotating electric machines (SuREMs). In this article, investigate influence of a soft magnetic composite (SMC) material on dc coil performances at cryogenic temperatures, GdBCO- YBCO-based commercial from different manufactures were used ten in double-pancake configuration. These wound using two core structures, i.e., fixed movable cores, having same circular shape but diameters materials, fiberglass SMC. Critical currents transport these measured electrical method. To evaluate parallel perpendicular components profile flux density each assembled coil, finite element model has been developed Maxwell 2D. Eventually, performance SuREM application was discussed.

Development and Characterization of Synthetic Tissue- Equivalent Material for CT Imaging Applications

Introduction: The use of a simple tissue analog material in the fabrication of medical computed tomography (CT) imaging phantoms has great potential to help researchers. The purpose of the present study is to develop new gel tissue-equivalent materials and determine whether their CT numbers and relative electron densities vary in CT images obtained by scans at different energie...

Inhomogeneity Material Effect on Electromechanical Stresses, Displacement and Electric Potential in FGM Piezoelectric Hollow Rotating Disk

In this paper, a radially piezoelectric functionally graded rotating disk is investigated by the analytical solution. The variation of material properties is assumed to follow a power law along the radial direction of the disk. Two resulting fully coupled differential equations in terms of the displacement and electric potential are solved directly. Numerical results for different profiles of i...

Design Study of a High Temperature Superconducting Generator with Ybco Windings

This paper considers the potential merits of using a HTS rotor winding in a low-speed high-torque synchronous generator and the possibility of building a small-scale demonstrator to investigate the practicality of building such a full-size machine. Pareto optimization results are presented for a full size machine with a high temperature superconducting rotor winding made from a new generation Y...
